Experience

Where I've worked, what I was responsible for, and the contributions I can speak to directly. Figures are kept to the specific work that produced them.

Roles

Data Science Intern

AstraZeneca

AstraZeneca is a global biopharmaceutical company. I work in Cell Therapy Technical Operations, supporting the operational systems behind manufacturing and delivering cell therapies. My current focus is supply-chain analysis: looking across routing, performance, distribution, and network data to understand how therapies move through the system and where the data can clarify operational questions.

  • Analyze supply-chain data across routing, performance, distribution, and network questions within cell therapy operations.
  • Study the movement and availability of therapies, where timing, coordination, and traceability are central to the operation.

Founding Data & Software Engineering Intern

Greenopia

Greenopia helps people find businesses with real sustainability practices, verified across what it calls good for you, good for the planet, and good for the community.

  • Reorganized a database of more than 300,000 businesses into a consistent structure.
  • Built scraping and enrichment pipelines that added detail to more than 30,000 records.
  • Enriched data for more than 50,000 businesses feeding the production app, and built an ingestion API plus an automated path that moved more than 400 businesses into the mobile app.
  • Built internal tools for managing customer data.

President & Marketing Director

VEST at UCLA

VEST connects UCLA students with startups and venture firms through hands-on work and events. As president, I coordinate sponsorships, partnerships, recruiting, internal programming, and event planning, helping keep the organization active across both its campus community and its startup network.

  • Helped grow the organization's marketing reach past 117,000 views and contributed to its brand kit, giving the team a more consistent foundation for event and recruiting materials.
  • Plan and run programming that includes founder and investor dinners, student networking events, and collaborations with startup organizations; a sample calendar is below.

Data Analyst

Data Science Union

The Data Science Union is a UCLA student organization that runs applied data projects with industry partners. I contributed to a braking-intelligence pipeline for Michelin Connected Fleet.

  • Built the part that dynamically estimates how far braking-score thresholds could be lowered before results are reported to drivers, fleet managers, and maintenance teams.

Director of Technology / Project Manager

Bruin Health Consulting

Bruin Health Consulting is a UCLA student consulting organization working with health and life-sciences clients. I lead application development and backend architecture on client engagements.

  • Helped build a consumer MVP and an application integrated into a startup accelerator's existing tools.
  • Set up backend architecture for client work, keeping specifics within the terms of each engagement.

ML Researcher & Data Journalist

Bruin Sports Analytics

Bruin Sports Analytics is a UCLA student group that publishes sports research and writing. I worked on prediction models and wrote a data-driven analysis.

  • Built an XGBoost model predicting basketball shot outcomes from on-court factors.
  • Also worked on a football draft prediction project described on my public portfolio.
  • Wrote a published analysis of Formula 1 pit-stop times.

Education

B.S. Statistics & Data Science

University of California, Los Angeles

Minors in Data Science Engineering and Bioinformatics. Listed GPA 3.85.

Coursework spans statistical modeling, linear algebra, machine learning, programming, data structures, and computational genomics.

VEST programming

A sample of events I've helped plan and run for VEST at UCLA.

  • March 2026VEST × Cognition dinner
  • May 2026VEST × Entrepreneurs First dinner and a SoCal networking night (around 60 students)
  • July 2026VEST × Julius AI in San Francisco (around 10 UCLA startup alumni)
  • October 2026Builder's Lounge for LA Tech Week (planned)

Earlier research & study

Pre-college programs that got me into research and machine learning.

Student Researcher

COSMOS at UC Irvine

COSMOS is the University of California's summer research program in math and science. My project tested whether inexpensive cognitive pre-screening measures could help indicate the progression of Alzheimer's disease. This was student research, not clinical validation.

Student

Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies

A summer studying artificial-intelligence methods and the mathematics behind them, taught by Stanford doctoral students.
