About
I'm studying Statistics and Data Science at UCLA, with minors in Data Science Engineering and Bioinformatics. My work usually spans the full path from data to a usable tool: organizing messy source material, analyzing it, then building the backend or interface that makes the result useful to someone else. My coursework in statistics, machine learning, programming, and computational genomics supports that practical work.
I've applied that approach in a few very different settings. At Greenopia, I helped turn a large, inconsistent business dataset into structured records and pipelines for a consumer app focused on sustainable businesses. At AstraZeneca, I work with supply-chain data in Cell Therapy Technical Operations, examining routing, performance, distribution, and network questions around the movement of cell therapies. In independent projects, I've built research prototypes using genetic-variant and adverse-event data, as well as a medical-imaging interface; those projects are exploratory and aren't clinical tools.
Outside my technical roles, I lead VEST at UCLA, a student organization that connects students with startups and venture firms. The work includes sponsorships, partnerships, recruiting, programming, and events—from smaller dinners with startup teams to larger student networking gatherings. I also contributed to the group's brand kit and helped grow its marketing reach past 117,000 views.

Writing
With Bruin Sports Analytics, I wrote a data-driven analysis of Formula 1 pit-stop times, looking at the factors behind variation in stop duration. Earlier, through COSMOS at UC Irvine, I documented a student research project exploring whether inexpensive cognitive pre-screening measures could indicate Alzheimer's disease progression. That work was exploratory, not clinical validation. I enjoy writing that makes the question, method, and limits of an analysis clear to readers beyond its immediate field.
Outside of work
Away from school and work, I shoot photography, journal, and look for good coffee shops around Los Angeles. Photography gives me a reason to pay attention to composition, light, and small details; those interests also shape how I approach an interface and how clearly it communicates.
